Harold Rosen
On
Thursday 12th March at the Institute of Education there will a celebration
of the life and work of Harold Rosen – teacher, story teller,
socialist, family man, talker, writer and advocate for progressive
educational causes. Harold is an important figure in the history
of LATE and we are sure many of you who remember him will want to
attend this event.
Nancy Martin
It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Nancy Martin
died of a heart attack on Saturday 21st June 2003 at the age of
93. Nancy was a real driving force in LATE at its foundation in
1947 and for many years after that.
Terry Furlong (1942 - 2002)
A memorial fund bearing Terry's name
has been launched. Several colleagues have also written obituaries
for Terry as well as less formal, more personal memories.
